Brian Halligan Biography

Brian Halligan is the chief executive officer and co-founder of HubSpot. Halligan has worked in a number of venture capitalist roles as well. Prior to founding HubSpot he worked as the VP of Sales at Groove Networks, a company that was later purchased by Microsoft. He has also worked as a venture partner at Longworth Ventures. Halligan has written several books, including Marketing Lessons from the Grateful Dead and Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google Social Media and Blogs. Halligan also teaches a class at MIT Sloan on entrepreneurial skills. In 2011 he was named Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
