Brian Pinkerton Biography

Brian Pinkerton is the vice president and general manager of A9.com Inc. Pinkerton began working for A9 in 2003 as the company’s head engineer. Pinkerton left the company for a brief time to run his own business. In 2011, he returned to A9 as the company’s lead architect, and in 2012, he was named the company’s general manager. Pinkerton holds a Ph.D. in the University of Washington and he created the first internet search engine, WebCrawler, while finishing his studies. He also holds a computer science degree from the University of Wisconsin.
