Charlotte Beers is a US based businesswoman and entrepreneur. She is best known for her work as Under Secretary of State during the Bush Administration. She worked in the Administration from 2001 to 2003, and played a critical role in the country’s response to the 9/11 terror attacks. She was key in the US development of the Shared Values Initiative, created by the State Department in order to limit radicalization of terrorists abroad. Beers holds a degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is also prominent in the business world, as she became the first female vice president at JWT.
