David Chao is a Managing General Partner at the Silicon Valley venture capital firm Doll Capital Management (DCM). David specializes in information technology working in computer communication and the Internet industries since the 1980s. At DCM he formulates corporate and product marketing strategies with portfolio companies. David develops strong management teams and creates worldwide partnerships. Before David joined DCM, he helped create Japan's first wireless reseller as a founding team member. He later managed two financial rounds as the CTO and CFO. David serves on the Board of Directors for 51net, Ecast, eDreams, Embark, and Recourse Technologies as well as being an advisor member for The Thacher School.p>
