Gordon Ritter is the co-founder and a general partner of Emergence Capital Partners. Before starting up Emergence, he had founded and built companies that inspired new markets such as server appliances “On Demand” and web-based application development. Before he found Software As Service, he managed the company IBM Global Small Business which came up as a result of the connection of IBM to Ritter’s company Whistle Communications. He also participated in the heavyweight team of Princeton University, where he studied Economics as his Bachelor’s degree.
