Jamie McKenzie is a graduate of Yale with an M.A from Columbia and Ed.D. From Rutgers, as a middle school teacher on English and social studies, Jamie always felt the urge to give more to students. Jamie Mackenzie’s road to success started off when he became the Editor of From-Now on- an Educational Technology journal, in 1991. His life’s work is dedicated to an increased commitment to professional development through finding educational channels and networks to support student exploration and reasoning. As part of that, Jamie publishes ‘The Question mark,’ an educational student journal focuses on answering tech questions and questioning.By 1997, became the Director of Libraries, Media and Technology for the Bellingham (WA) Public Schools- an 18school district institution with over 10000 students who have access to over 2000 personal computers connected to the internet. Jamie is also the contributing editor to school News and a periodic columnist to Classroom Connect. His leadership skills have been demonstrated in a lot of organizations such as Kappan.
