Jannita was initially a classroom teacher at the Anaheim City School District, before pursuing her lifelong ambition incorporating technology into students classroom studies and activities. Jannita started initially through creating a partnership with prospective individuals who could help her elementary classroom of second language learners get exposed to technology. She went further to create a relationship with the county office of education, other local schools, film studios, and television stations. She has traveled around the country to host talk shows and presentations to teachers on ways to teach technology into the classroom.To promote her course, Jannita joined the Discovery Education in a bid to launch the Discovery Educator Network. Currently, she hosts some events for the district administration, parents, educators and students to foster technological growth in her community. Jannita’s approach encourages participants to discover better and more creative ways to re-engage learners of today and seek better opportunities to commit and inspire educators.
