Jeff Raikes Biography

Jeff Raikes born May 29, 1958, co-founder of the Raikes Foundation, former CEO of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and former president of MicrosoftRaikes joined Microsoft as a project manager in 1981 and retired in September 2008 after around 27 years at the organization. While at Microsoft Raikes was a successful manager, president & deal creator who helped characterized the Microsoft Office Brand and early Macintosh applications. In the wake of leaving Microsoft, he joined the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and was CEO before resigning from this job in 2014.
