Jerry Yang Biography

Jerry Yang was conceived November 6, 1968, and is a Taiwanese American Internet business visionary, architect, and developer. He is the co-found and the previous CEO of Yahoo! Inc, and funding firm AME Cloud Ventures which has provided funding to more than 50 startups, including Tango, Evernote, wattpad and Vectra Networks Inc. He studied Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. In April 1994 He and David Filo made an Internet site comprising of a catalog of different sites called Jerry and Dave's Guide to the World Wide Web which was renamed Yahoo. Yahoo turned out to be extremely well known that Yang and Filo understood the business potential and teamed up to establish Yahoo! Inc. in April 1995. They withdrew of nonattendance and put off their doctoral projects inconclusively. Yahoo began off as a web-based interface with a web index providing an extensive range of products and services for online activities. It's currently one of the main web brands because of partnership with media and telecommunications.
