Jim Carroll Biography

Born on 1 August 1949 in Manhattan, New York city, united state. He is also known as James Dennis Carroll, was an America author, a poet, musician, and most especially an auto biography, on of his autobiographer work is THE BASKETBALL DIARIES, the book indeed inspired a 1995 film of the same title that starred Leonardo Dicaprio as Carroll. Carroll in the year 1963 entered public school but was soon awarded a scholarship to the elite Trinity School. He attended Trinity from 1964 to 1968, he was also known as a basketball star, and an addicted to drugs, heroin. But when he was in high school, he publishes his first collection of poems, organic train, making the local literati, his later gain publication and was seen in poetry projects magazine, and in 1968 his work was published in the Paris Review. His music career began in 1978 when after he emailed to California to start a fresh start after defeating his heroin addiction. At age sixty he died of heart attack at his Manhattan home on September 11th, in the year 2009.
