Marc Raibert Biography

Marc Raibert worked at MIT from 1986 to 1995 as a professor of electrical engineering and computer science. He also worked at the institution’s artificial intelligence laboratory. Raibert is perhaps best known as the co-founder and president of Boston Dynamics, a robotics company located close by MIT’s campus. Boston Dynamics has created a wide range of futuristic robots, including models based on humans and dogs. The robots created by Boston Dynamics are able to run, jump, roll, and complete shorts tasks.
