Matt Olsen Biography

Matt Olsen is the President of IronNet Cybersecurity and is responsible for leading their consulting services, providing strategic and operational guidance to companies on cybersecurity and cyber threats, and helping to guide IronNet’s business development. Matt has worked for over two decades as a top government official on national security intelligence and law enforcement issues. Appointed by the President to serve as the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) Matt led the government's efforts to integrate and analyze terrorism information and coordinate counterterrorism activities for three years. Prior to joining NCTC he was the General Counsel for the National Security Agency. Matt also served at the Department of Justice in several leadership positions responsible for national security and criminal cases and for over a decade as a federal prosecutor. Matt also served as Special Counsel to the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Matt graduated from Harvard Law School and the University of Virginia and clerked in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
