Maurice Biriotti is Founder and CEO of SHM a strategy and insight organisation and was a full-time academic, and held posts at the Universities of Cambridge, Birmingham and Zurich. Maurice is a Visiting Professor in the department of Psychiatry, Yale University; a member of the advisory board for the Faculty of Arts, Aarhus University; and holds a Chair of Medical Humanities at University College London. Maurice uses innovative ways of applying literature and philosophy to solve business problems. He has developed a theoretical framework that can be applied to conflict resolution and is currently exploring how to gain a better understanding of the nature of conflict through cross-disciplinary research.
